fudgy chocolate and peanut butter oatmeal

Autocorrect is trying to tell me that fudgy isn't a word. That just can't be true.

I make this when I'm feeling sad, or happy, or neutral. It's just really good. Feel free to sub in any nut butter you wish, peanut butter is a classic combo that I absolutely loooooove.

The banana in this recipe balances out the bitterness of the raw cacao powder, so the bigger the banana, the more cacao powder you can use!

Recipe:

1/2 cup oats
1 cup liquid (I use half almond milk/half water)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 mashed banana
1-2 TB of cacao powder
1-infinity TB of nut butter

Method:
Bring liquid to a boil, then reduce to medium and add oats and mashed banana. After a few minutes, add the cacao powder and the vanilla extract. Once you've reached your desired consistency, stir in the nut butter, add dollops, GO CRAZY WHO'S WATCHING!!!!!

Bask in the fudgy (yes, it's a word) goodness.

Xx
Meg
